Kristina Macias M.S.

Strength, Mobility, and Breath Coach

Kristina holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and has over 15 years of experience as a strength coach and exercise physiologist. She built and directed the Biometrics Lab at Jyzen in Mill Valley, where she specialized in metabolic testing and helped pioneer programs that used breath as a medium for data-driven health and performance insights.

Today, Kristina has expanded her practice beyond diagnostics into applied coaching. She serves as a breath coach for an international public speaking team, helping high performers harness their physiology to stay grounded, present, and resilient in high-stakes environments. She also works with individuals who want to leverage the integration of breath and strength training to reduce stress, build resilience, and improve their quality of life.

Her coaching blends kettlebells, Olympic rings, parallette bars, sandbags, and other unconventional strength tools with breathwork, mobility, and playful manipulation of force, speed, time, volume, and position. Kristina’s mission is to help clients re-pattern their nervous system and discover how intentional shifts in breath and movement can create lasting improvements in resilience, focus, and overall well-being.

When she isn’t coaching, Kristina can be found rock climbing, slacklining, surfing, dancing, lifting, and exploring nature with her family and friends.
